This 35 PPI (pores per inch) reticulated foam, also referred to as Scot Foam, is a pure polyether foam and is not to be confused with a reticulated polyurethane or polyether based foam (filter, speaker or “dry-fast” foams). While all of these foams have a similar feel/texture, only reticulated pure polyether foams such as this will last. The high-quality properties of this foam ensure a lifetime of use as it won’t crumble, deteriorate, or tear with age.
